Why budget matters

F1 Fantasy prices move based on how a pick performs relative to its cost. Catching price rises early — especially in the first 6–8 rounds — compounds into extra budget you can later spend on elite drivers.

How to use it

In the Optimizer, choose the Budget Builder strategy. It favours strong points-per-million picks that our model expects to rise in price, balancing this-week points with asset growth. The Season tab's price trackers show who's trending up or down.

Tip: sometimes holding a fading pick one more round lets you sell just before a price drop — the price-change brackets on each card show when you're near a threshold.

FAQ

How do F1 Fantasy prices change?

Prices rise or fall after each race based on a pick's points relative to its price (roughly a points-per-million rating). Strong value picks go up; underperformers drop. Catching rises early compounds into more budget.

What is the best F1 Fantasy budget strategy?

Early in the season, prioritise picks likely to appreciate so your team value grows, then convert that extra budget into premium drivers later. The BoxBox Budget Builder strategy surfaces exactly those picks.
