Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia: the FP2 picture

Our post-FP2 simulation for round 18 is now live. These are average Fantasy points across the simulations, using the practice data available so far. Qualifying and the race have not happened; the numbers will change if new information arrives.

Leading drivers

  1. Max Verstappen — 24.1 expected points at £27.6m. The middle 90% of simulated outcomes runs from -10.5 to 50.0 points.
  2. Kimi Antonelli — 22.9 expected points at £26.9m. The middle 90% of simulated outcomes runs from -7.7 to 44.0 points.
  3. Arvid Lindblad — 22.6 expected points at £8.8m. The middle 90% of simulated outcomes runs from -12.6 to 40.0 points.

The wide ranges show why a high average is only part of the decision: a strong result and a difficult weekend are both possible.

Constructor watch

A lower-cost option

Arvid Lindblad has the highest expected points among drivers priced at or below the field's median price: 22.6 points at £8.8m. That makes them a useful budget comparison, although the projection alone does not account for the rest of your team's balance.
